La Luz Surfcamp El Palmar

La Luz Surf Camp is located in the sleepy seaside town of El Palmar on the Costa de la Luz in Andalucia. From mid-September to late

May it offers guests a comfortable atmosphere in one of Europe´s warmest and most beautiful surf regions. The long beach break is

situated two minutes walk away from the Surfcamp and offers the best conditions of southern Spain.

The Surf Camp 

The main house of La Luz Surf Camp is located only 100 meters from the beach. It has a double room with private bathroom and three

single or double rooms with shared bathroom. The large quiet garden and the comfortable lounge area are perfect to relax after a

surf ride. The lounge has flat screen TV, a PC with free Internet access, WiFi and many other entertainment options. If the main house is

fully booked, guests stay in the holiday houses next door. 

The Surf

El Palmar is known because of its perfect beachbreak. From September to May it offers the best waves of the whole region.

Other spots (point- + reef-breaks) are nearby. This is the reason why La Luz Surf Camp settled exactly here. 

La Luz Surf Camp offers five-day surfing courses with theoretical and practical components for beginners, intermediates or advanced

surfers. The qualified instructors are locals from the region and teach in German or English. They always choose the right surfspot

according to the daily conditions.

Surfing takes place mainly in El Palmar, the best beach break in Andalucia, with its great sand banks and constant swell. The best

conditions are here from September to May and the line-ups never get crowded. 

The Prices

The prices here are based entirely on the wishes of the guest. The Surf Camp offers the following weekly packages: 

Package 1: Eat, Sleep, Surf (Full board + accommodation + Surf course) 

Price per week is between 495€ and 535€.
The following services are included: 

* 7 nights accommodation in a double or twin room 

* 7x breakfast buffet 

* 7x lunch 

* 5 dinners, including 1x original paella dinner

* Extensive surfing lessons for 5 days with theory lessons and video analysis. 

* 7 days free use of surf board and wet suit
* Free use of all Camp Facilities: Comfortable lounge, DVD, TV, WiFi, Internet, Slack Line, Skateboards, Indoboards, etc. 


Package 2: Eat, Sleep, Surf yourself (full board + accommodation) 

Price per week is between 350 € and 395 €.
The following services are included: 

* 7 nights accommodation in a double or twin room 

* 7x breakfast buffet 

* 7x lunch 

* 5 dinners, including 1x original paella dinner

* Free use of all Camp Facilities: Comfortable lounge, DVD, TV, WiFi, Internet, Slack Line, Skateboards, Indo boards, etc. 


Package 3: B & B (breakfast + accommodation) 

Price per week (in season) is between 265€ and 375€.
The following services are included: 

* 7 nights accommodation in a double or twin room 

* 7x breakfast buffet 

* Free use of all Camp Facilities: Comfortable lounge, DVD, TV, WiFi, Internet, Slack Line, Skateboards, Indo boards, etc.

The Region

El Palmar has a beautiful, six-kilometer long beach untouched by mass tourism. Gold-colored sand, clear water, perfect waves

and idyllic villages give the region a very special charm. 

For those who long for a relaxing atmosphere in and out of the water El Palmar is the right place. El Palmar has several cafes,

restaurants, supermarkets and beach bars where you can enjoy freshly caught fish. Nevertheless, El Palmar is very laid back and quiet.

More action can be found in Cádiz which is 50km away. This is the oldest city in Europe. Completely surrounded by water, the city has

many historic buildings, beautiful squares and winding streets. 

Getting there

The nearest airports are Jerez de la Frontera (75km), Seville (120 km), Gibraltar (100 km) and Malaga (220 km). The camp can be

reached from here by public transportation, rental car or airport transfers. Transfers to the airport can be arranged when booking with

the La Luz Surf Camp.

Friday is usually arrival day – however, other days are possible by request.
