Surfing

Wintertime is time for surfing, at least in Morocco! Between November and March the country offers ideal conditions for surfing.

Although it is not considerably windy there are always enough waves and an enjoyably warm weather. Besides, the village Aglou

provides the opportunity to surf innumerable mind-blowing beach and point breaks inside few kilometres. The spots are so close to

each other that one could describe it as pure luxury.

The surf camp offers courses for beginners as well as for advanced surfers. All of the instructors are qualified and educated either

by the German or by the International Surfing Association.

In addition to surf courses the camp guests have the possibility to participate in so-called guided tours (e.g. with top surfers from

Morocco). Thus one can theoretically get driven to the best spots of the country every day. Only prerequisite for this purpose is the

ability to surf waves up to 5 feet (approx. 1,5 meters) securely.

Surf Spots

Mirleft, Oued Massa, Aglou-Point, Sidi Ifni, Tifnit.

Prices for surf courses, board and lodging

Camino Surf Morocco offers surf courses from November to February – prices as follows:

The all-round package
- one week in shared accommodation
- five days surf course (20 hours)
- full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner)
starting from 285.- Euro

Accommodation without full board (only breakfast) and surf course are available starting from 225.- Euro.

The region

Alongside the high probability of waves and the sunny weather Morocco impresses with its cultural variety and the local hospitality.

Moreover the country provides a touch of Arabian Nights: busy markets, culinary delicacies and exotic flavors invite you to dream.

The quiet village of Aglou enchants guests primarily with its wonderful sandy beach and the crystal clear water. Especially in summer

the small seaside resort is considered as a popular holiday destination, whilst there aren’t many tourists in the winter months.

Those who prefer hustle and bustle over tranquility have the chance to go on excursion to the surf domicile Taghazoute or to

the lively seaport of Agadir. Both cities are only a few kilometres away from Aglou.

How to get there

Guests are picked up with a surf shuttle from the airport Agadir and brought to the surf camp. Marrakech as the airport of arrival is

possible, too, but if so the Camino Surf team should be informed.

Car or auto cycle rentals are also possible. Upon agreement Camino Surf will gladly organize vehicles for round trips.
