The Surf Camp

Guests are accommodated in the Sugar Cane Hostel which also hosts backpackers but focuses on surfers.

The hostel is in a very nice location - bars, clubs and shops are just around the corner and also the golden sand beaches

are only a stone’s throw away.

You can stay in double rooms or 6-bed dorms (mixed/male/female). All rooms have own bathroom as well as lockers for valuables.

In the hostel there is a TV room, internet access, a kitchen for guests, a terrace and a bar.

The Sugar Cane Hostel offers a lot of services that will make your stay even more comfortable: luggage deposit, laundry service,

hiring out of surfboards, beach sport equipment and bikes as well as a 24-hour-reception. If you’re interested in trying

something new, feel free to participate in a yoga, samba or Portuguese class!

Region

Pipa is situated in the north east of Brazil, around 85 kilometres away from Natal, the capital of the state

Rio Grande do Norte, and surrounded by steep coasts and abundant vegetation. The natural beauty of the place attracts both

national and international guests. Hiking through the rainforest, walks along beautiful beaches, chill-out in a beach bar –

there are a lot of ways to relax in the small beach resort. With a bit of luck, one might even see some dolphins. And also at night

the town of Pipa has a lot to offer: In the countless bars you can listen to some Brazilian live music, and there a many restaurants,

cafés and galleries.

How to get there

It is actually pretty easy to get to Pipa by plane. Choose "Natal" as your destination airport, then continue with one of the

mini busses of "Transporte Alternativo" who’ll take you directly to Pipa (call +55 (84) 9973 0353 if you have questions).

Another possibility is to get a coach from the Natal coach station. For more info, call the Oceano company and ask for a

coach to "Praia da Pipa": +55 (84) 3205-3656, +55 (84) 3203-2440 or +55 (84) 3205-3833.

You can also take a taxi, of course. The 65-kilometre journey to Pipa should cost around R$90 – R$125.
