The Kima surf camp Balangan offers best conditions for intermediate and advanced surfers who in a quiet environment want

to devote themselves completely to riding the waves. You can surf the home break or participate in one of the 12 daily surf trips

to Bali’s top spots. The metropolis of Kuta is 45 minutes away by car.

The surf camp

Accommodation in the Kima surf camp Balangan is in two-storey bungalows. There is one room on every floor, so in all 4 people

max. can share a bungalow. The beach with Kima Balangan’s home break is only 2 minutes away on foot. The surf camp disposes of a

tropical garden with swimming pool as well as of an own small restaurant. Those who like to go on a shopping or party trip to

Kuta are provided with a car and driver.

Otherwise you can relax playing pool or hanging out in the garden.
A choice of American, Indonesian, English and Continental breakfast is included. The hotel’s restaurant additionally serves western

food, but you can also enjoy local specialities for very little money.

The surf

From Monday to Friday, Kima Surf offer 12 guided trips daily to the best surfing spots on Bali. Camp guests are divided into

small groups according to their respective skill level. The well-trained guides show you how to surf reefs and give valuable advice.

Moreover, you can profit from individual analyses after the sessions in order to improve your surfing.

One of Bali’s longest left-handers breaks just a short walk away from the surf camp, at high swell you can even surf a tube once

in a while. The long wave has a great variety of sections where you can find steep or simple drops, sharp faces as well as smooth

longboard conditions. Furthermore, advanced surfers can enjoy Dreamland’s easily accessible semi-beach breaks. The surf trips are

carefully planned according to the actual conditions.

Region

As Balangan is far enough away from the touristy city of Kuta, you can concentrate fully and totally relaxed on surfing. Nevertheless,

if you want to go on a shopping or party tour to the metropolis, you can ask one of the camp’s drivers to get you there. The journey

takes about 45 minutes. To see a little more of the beautiful island, take a tour to the inner parts of Bali where you’ll find majestic

volcanoes and many old temples. Hire one of the camps mountain bikes or mopeds to go on a discovery tour on your own.

How to get there

By plane to Denpasar International Airport, the airport transfer is organized by Kima Surf. In order to get cheap flights,

make your reservation at least 5 months before your trip!
