PHILIPS & O'NEILL TO LAUNCH TWO NEW HEADPHONE MODELS; JORDY SMITH JOINS TEAM
Philips and O’Neill are cranking up their successful headphone collaboration yet another notch come Spring 2012 with the anticipated launch of two new headphone models, namely ‘The Construct’ and ‘The Tread’.
The two new arrivals to the range of super-durable headphones, designed to withstand the physical demands that go hand-in-hand with every type of active lifestyle, have been given the official stamp of approval by the Tested on Animals team riders, and more specifically from brand new headphones team rider Jordy Smith, one of the Dream Tour's surfers, and fellow team rider Malia Manuel.

’The Construct’, aka Jordy's heaphones of choice, is undoubtedly our toughest headphone yet. Featuring a TR90 flexible headband and reinforced cables, ‘The Construct’ reaps the benefits of a robust construction that also includes safe-release cans to deal with the threat of heavy impact forces. Available in classic black or white colorways, ‘The Construct’ backs up its no-nonsense credentials with superior comfort and sound thanks to noise isolating soft ear cushioning that deliver the kind of deep, dynamic bass that Philips | O'Neill headphones are known for.
