Besides trade shows, a get-together with barbecue and whirlpool, a skatepark and parties, the film „The Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D“ saw its celebrated German premiere.

The audience at the completely sold-out presentation of “The Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D“ was excited! The film accompanies Kelly Slater and Raimana Van Bastolaer on their chase for the ultimate wave – by means of the 3D effect, the spectators had the feeling of actually being in the line-up.

On the festival's second and third day, a wide range of surf accessories, surf equipment and surf fashion was presented and offered at the trade show. In between, many workshops were conducted including a skate workshop in the festival's own skatepark. Here also the youngsters showed there skills at the Titus Bestline Contest on the last day of the festival.

Moreover, some current surf movies were presented such as the present blockbuster "Keep Surfing“ and the documentary "Maui Boyz“, and their directors invited all fans to autograph sessions.

On Saturday night, O'Neill finally invited everyone to a big party at the planetarium. The DJs fired up the crowd and made their blood boil until 5.30 in the morning!

The first Munich Surf Festival was a great success!
