With small 1 to 2 foot waves and strong onshore winds the second and third main round in the Men's Longboard Class were conducted today.

Read more about both the qualifying for the Longboard Final (among others with titel holder Adrian Siebert) and a surprising star guest, and watch todays's highlights video

The first heats in the male longboarder's second round started already early in the morning of this year's ADH Open's fourth day. Despite the really small waves the participants showed some great surfing; above all titel holder Adrian Siebert stood out and could win out over his opponents in the second and third main round heats, definitely convincing the jury. With varied maneuvers like cut backs and roundhouses as well as hang fives and cross steps, the favorite from Kiel secured himself a place in the final. But also Markus Emmerich from Freiburg delighted the audience and jury with long waves and nice top and bottom turns.

In the Men's Longboard Final the following surfers will show up: Adrian Siebert, Markus Emmerich, Philipp Kuretzky and Veit Hüttemann.

Around midday the wave conditions became worse, so the organisers decided to postpone the contest to 6 p.m. Quite close to the contest area, the Surf-Devil Team met Jeremy Flores, currently one of the best surfers in the world, at a Quiksilver photo shooting.

Stay tuned for the next main rounds (including Open Men & Women), hopefully with a little more swell then.
