QGC 2009: First finals on day 6

The waves are still small on the 6th day of the Quiksilver German Champs 2009. But the judges decided to start the finals in the categories Bodyboard, Grandmaster, Junior Ladies, Longboard Ladies & Cadets.

 

Check out some of today's action in our video...

 

Great action in today's video of the Rep Charge Final in the Open Class, the final in the Grandmaster Class, Longboard Women and Bodyboard.

Summary of the day:

 

- 1-3 ft. waves with offshore wind

- Paul Grey and Philipp Katzenstein reached the final in the Open class

- Tight Longboard final between the Hönscheid sisters, Carla Twelkemeier and Meike Reijermann

- Equally close was the bodyboard final between Pablo & Yamir Prieto and Oliver & Alexandra Rinder

- Today's other finals in the classes Grandmaster, Junior Ladies, Longboard Ladies & Cadets

- The remaining finals were cancelled due to the high tide

- results will be published tomorrow night

 

 Preview for tomorrow:

 

- Swell: 1-3 ft. with offshore wind

- Finals in the classes Open, Open Women, Longboard Men, Juniors, Seniors and Master
